Summer in Minakami means, rafting, canyoning, bungy, hiking, swimming, bbqing or just getting out of the city and chilling out in beautiful natural surroundings. Best of all, summer in Minakami also means its time for the Summer Splash Mountain Music Festival!

Summer Splash is an annual Mountain Music festival event that brings out some amazing international and domestic live acts and DJ's for one all night party in the mountains.

The Summer Splash weekend trip is always one of the funnest trips of the green season. Not only for all the great music and partying at the Summer Splash Music Fest but also because during the day you can take part in any of the awesome adventure activities on offer up in Minakami.

Rafting or Hyrdospeeding are great ways to experience the beautiful rivers of Minakami where over 12kms of whitewater rafting adventure awaits. Its also a great time of year to go canyoning - jumping waterfalls, cascading down natural chutes and swimming in crystal clear pools - a very fun way to get wet!

If its an instant adrenalin rush that you're after look no further than the Minakami Bungy Bridge Jump! Check out the photos from our trip to Minakami earlier this year to get an idea.

Climbing Mt. Tanigawadake

For those not rafting, canyoning (or too hungover) on the Sunday, we will be climbing Mt. Tanigawadake - the huge mountain that towers over Minakami. The breathtaking 360 deg. views at the top are incredible!

Before heading back to Tokyo we will stop off at the incredibly beautiful outdoor onsen - Takaragawa Onsen. Takaragawa is a world class indoor/outdoor onsen in a beautiful natural setting. The onsen features many different bathing areas and even includes a large outdoor mixed area (separate male/female areas also available).

Lets get out of the city and get wet in Minakami!

The Plan

Saturday 30th June
07:15am	Meet in Shinjuku. All aboard the TSC Bus! Watch movies, chat with old and new friends and get excited! Stop for snacks / early lunch along the way
11:00am approx.	Arrive in Minakami and check into hotel.
12:00pm ~ 16:00pm	Canyoning, Rafting, MTB or Bungy adventure!!! Head off on adventure tours or hang out at the local swimming hole, go and watch the bungy jumpers / rafters etc.
16:00pm ~ 17:30pm	Soak in the hotel onsen. Relax with a cold drink.
17:30pm ~ 19:00pm	Outdoor BBQ Dinner by the River.
19:00pm ~ late	Summer Splash Mountain Music Festival. Party until late with great live music, good drinks and food, good people - good times!

Sunday 1st July
07:30am	Breakfast at the Hotel
08:30am ~ 15:00pm	Mt Tanigawa Hike - Take the ropeway and hike to the summit OR Canyoning, Rafting, MTB or Bungy adventure OR spend the day relaxing by the river and in the onsens.
15:30pm~17:00pm	Visit the awesome Takaragawa Onsen.
17:00pm	Board the bus for the trip back to Tokyo.
20:30pm	Arrive back in Shinjuku. Refreshed after a great weekend! Remember to swap contact details with the people you met!!

Reservations are for Club Members only but if you have a friend who wants to come theres no worries just get them to join up as a member for free on the website first

Earlybird Discount - Please deduct 1000yen from the trip price for if you book and pay before June 5.

Rooms - Its 4~6 people per room at the hotel.

This trip will be cancelled/postponed if the minumum number of participants is not met. If this is the case we will let you know asap and refund 100% of the cost of the trip by bank transfer.
