Niijima is one of the Izu islands, located 160km from the Tokyo port. The island is famous for its sandy white beaches and turquoise waters which are ideal for surfing, snorkeling and swimming. The Niijima campground is very picturesque, located at the base of a small mountain and surrounded by green leafy trees.

Meet at Takeshiba Ferry Terminal, Tokyo

Ferry ride to Niijima. Hangout or sleep on the deck.
2012 Sep 15 (Saturday)
7:30am
Arrive Niijima. Walk to bicycle rental store and then cycle to campground (15min). Your luggage will be taken to campground for you by van.
08:00am ~ 17:30pm
Set up Tents. Free time on the island! Explore the beaches, visit an onsen, go hiking, relax!
17:30pm ~ sleep
Dinner at the campsite followed by drinks around the campfire, hanging with everyone until sleep.
