Our last group trip to Minakami for the 2012 green season! Summer in Minakami means, rafting, canyoning, bungy, hiking, swimming, bbqing or just getting out of the city and chilling out in beautiful natural surroundings.

Navigating the Rapids in Minakami - July 2012 Trip

Rafting or Hyrdospeeding are great ways to experience the beautiful rivers of Minakami where over 12kms of whitewater rafting adventure awaits. Its also a great time of year to go canyoning - jumping waterfalls, cascading down natural chutes and swimming in crystal clear pools - a very fun way to get wet!

If its an instant adrenalin rush that you're after look no further than the Minakami Bungy Bridge Jump! Check out the photos from our trip to Minakami earlier this year to get an idea.

For those not rafting, canyoning (or too hungover) on the Sunday, we will be climbing Mt. Tanigawadake - the huge mountain that towers over Minakami. The breathtaking 360 deg. views at the top are incredible!

We will be stopping at the awesome Takaragawa Outdoor Onsen before returning to Tokyo. Takaragawa is a world class indoor/outdoor onsen in a beautiful natural setting. The onsen features many different bathing areas and even includes a large outdoor mixed area (separate male/female areas also available).

Lets get out of the city and get wet in Minakami!

The Plan

Saturday 8th September
07:15am	Meet in Shinjuku. All aboard the TSC Bus! Watch movies, chat with old and new friends and get excited! Stop for snacks / early lunch along the way
11:00am approx.	Arrive in Minakami and leave luggage at Hotel.
12:00pm ~ 16:00pm	Canyoning, Rafting, MTB, Hydrospeed or Bungy adventure!!! Head off on adventure tours or hang out at the local swimming hole, go and watch the bungy jumpers / rafters etc.
16:00pm ~ 17:30pm	Soak in the hotel onsen. Relax with a cold drink.
17:30pm ~ 19:30pm	BBQ outdoors by the river at Canyons.
19:30pm ~ late	Group party / Live Music / DJ Event at Canyons Alpine Bar.

Sunday 9th September
07:30am	Breakfast
08:30am ~ 15:30pm	Canyoning, Rafting, MTB, Hydrospeed or Bungy adventure!!! Head off on adventure tours or hang out at the local swimming hole. Or spend the day relaxing by the river and in the onsens.
15:30pm~17:00pm	Visit the awesome Takaragawa Onsen.
17:00pm	Board the bus for the trip back to Tokyo.
20:00pm	Arrive back in Shinjuku. Refreshed after a great weekend! Remember to swap contact details with the people you met!!

Adventure Tour Options These prices have been discounted for TSC members: - Rafting - Half Day Tour +7500yen - Canyoning - Half Day Tour +7000yen - Bridge Bungy Jump +7000yen - Hydrospeed +11000yen Prices include all safety gear and rentals such as helmets, wetsuits, life jackets etc. Also includes insurance and qualified, English speaking guides.

Reserve a Space

Reservations are for Club Members only but if you have a friend who wants to come theres no worries just get them to join up as a member for free on the website first

Earlybird Discount - Please deduct 1000yen from the trip price for if you book and pay before August. 7th.

Rooms - Its 4~6 people per room at the hotel.

There is only space on the bus for 45 people and these spaces will go to those who book first. This Club Trip will book out well before the trip date so if you are keen to come the earlier you reserve a space the better!
