This Club Trip features:

Come and join us for a fun weekend trip to the largest ski resort in Japan! The resort is made up of 21 different ski fields and 70 lifts, including gondolas, high speed quads, pairs and singles and you only need the one lift pass to access all areas. You can ski or snowboard all day without hitting the same runs twice. There are 80 kilometers of groomed runs in total, including several runs over 6km in length and. As well as being the largest resort in Japan, the Yokoteyama area at Shiga Kogen is also the highest, with stunning 360° panoramic views at the summit.

After skiing / boarding all day Saturday we can soak in the hotel's 100% natural Onsen before enjoying a few cold drinks with dinner. After dinner there will be a group party in the hotel party room until late. Hang out with old and new friends, have a few drinks, listen to some tunes, and sing some karaoke if you feel the urge!

Short Trek to the Monkeys - 2011 Trip

For those not skiing/boarding on the Sunday, we will be taking the bus 20min down the road to visit the must see Snow Monkeys who live in the Jigokudani Yaenkoen Onsen area. Some of the best photographic opportunities in Japan await as these Monkeys spend most of their day hanging out in the open air hot springs in the area, occasionally leaving the hot water to frolick in the snow.

Making Tracks - 2011 Trip

After hanging out with the monkeys we will stop at the nearby Shibu Onsen, a nostalgic Japanese onsen village, for lunch before visiting the local brewery to taste some of the delicious Shiga Kogen Ales and Sake on offer.

The Plan

Friday 13th January
19:45pm	Meet in Shinjuku. All aboard the TSC Bus! Watch movies, chat with old and new friends, and get excited! Stop to stretch and grab snacks along the way.
12:00am approx.	Arrive in Shiga Kogen and check into the Hotel. Have a late night onsen and/or sleep.

Saturday 14th January
07:00am	Wake up!
07:30am ~ 08:30am	Breakfast in the hotel restaurant
08:30am ~ 17:00pm	Get out there early and Ski / Snowboard all day.
16:30pm ~ 18:30pm	Soak in the hotel onsen. Relax with a cold drink
18:30pm ~ 20:00pm	Dinner in the hotel restaurant.
20:00pm ~ late	Group Party in the hotel party room. Drinks, Music, Chilling, Dancing, Karaoke.

Sunday 15th January
07:30am	Breakfast at the Hotel
08:30am ~ 15:30pm	Skiing / Snowboarding OR Snow Monkey/Brewery Tour
16:00pm	Board the bus for the trip back to Tokyo.
21:30pm	Arrive back in Shinjuku. Refreshed after a great weekend! Remember to swap contact details with the people you met!!

Reserve a Space

Reservations are for Club Members only but if you have a friend who wants to come theres no worries just get them to join up as a member for free on the website first

Earlybird Discount - 1000yen off the trip price for members who book and pay before Dec. 13.

Rooms - Its 4 ~ 5 people per room at the hotel. Rooms are Japanese Style rooms with futons. Limited private, two person rooms are also available at an extra cost of 2000yen per person. If you would like a private room please make a note on your booking form when you sign up.

There is only space on the bus for 53 people and these spaces will go to those who book first. This Club Trip will book out well before the trip date so if you are keen to come the earlier you reserve a space the better!
