Heres another pic from the recent hike up Fuji. Mid-summer Japan – 4000m elevation – quite a bit of snow – freezing cold – bikinis.

With temperatures well into the mid-30′s this week and most people cowering in airconditioned rooms, two TSC organisers joined 8 others to trek to the summit of Mt. Fuji in an attempt to escape the heat. While the base temperature was over 30 degrees, when we finally reached the summit it was a chilly 4 degrees!
