This trip was so much fun! I met a lot of cool, new people and finally got back out to some gorgeous powder snow, after ages away. It was the perfect re-introduction to get my 'snow-legs' back, and actually be social. The guides were awesome; very informative, and super supportive, even, and maybe especially, when we were being dumb. My friend left her snowboard at the hotel, and I didn't notice until we got to the slopes. It was a whole ridiculous thing of sharing my board during the lesson. But, our instructors, Robin and Diane were super helpful, though hilariously flabbergasted by the situation. Hakuba was really gorgeous! And the festival, with the multiple taiko performances and fire dancing were quite the treat! Also, though we weren't there most of the time, the hotel staff catered to our needs brilliantly. They were so careful about everyone's dietary restrictions. It was admirable. All the staff, including the bus staff were really great, including long after the trip had passed. I lost something valuable on the way back, and everyone pitched in to search for it. It wasn't found, but I'm super appreciative of the effort anyway. Looking forward to another excursion with the lovely folks of TSC! I'll definitely be more mindful of my accoutrements next time! Cheers guys! Dani_T

This was my first trip with Tokyo Snow Club and my expectations were exceeded! It quickly became apparent that TSC was very experienced in organizing these trips. Everything was thought of and communication was on point. We arrived on time at the hotel, which was very simple but had everything we needed. A highlight is definitely the hotel's own onsen, which is really relaxing after a day on the slopes. I personally found the breakfast and dinner to be delicious and varied. It was easy to make friends and find like-minded people with similar skill lev. In my case, I took the beginner's class, so I usually sticked to other beginners. But there were also a lot of experienced people there who went out on more difficult tracks together. There was something for everyone. Needlessly to say everyone was super friendly and helpful. Looking forward to join another TSC trip soon!

Epic Weekend at Shiga Kogen with Tokyo Snow Club! ❄️ An amazing 2-day ski trip to Shiga Kogen with Tokyo Snow Club, and I couldn't recommend it more to someone who hasn't tried skiing before especially! The whole experience was fantastic - from the comfortable travel arrangements to the perfectly located hotel The Organizers and the Ski/Snowboarding experts gave wonderful training to beginners, solid basics and valuable learning session. Highlights: Powder Paradise: Shiga Kogen lived up to the hype! Perfect snow conditions made carving down the slopes a dream. Monkey Magic: Visiting the Snow Monkey Park was an unforgettable experience. Seeing those monkeys soaking in the hot springs was incredible! Convenience King: The trip was so well organized - everything from transportation to meals was taken care of, leaving me free to focus on enjoying the place and ambience. One of my favourite areas is Kagura which can be reached after the longest gondola because the snow was really powdery. I had fun with many courses there a lot! I felt like I wanted to spend time to snowboard as much as I could. Look forward to joining again next time. I appreciate everything to TSC as they organised very well so I enjoyed and relaxed the whole this event!

Great trip with everything covered, from hotel/food/attractions etc. Everything was really efficient in regards to rentals and gear, like having us try them on the night before so there was no hustle for that in the morning. I also really appreciated the late check out (1PM). It's not very often you're able to sleep in on a trip so that was a great breather after two days of snowboarding! Would like to go again and would definitely recommend to friends.

Again, TSC organised a perfect trip to Shiga-Kogen. All parts of the journey left punctually. And although there was lots of traffic due to the long weekend, we arrived back at Shinjuku in good time. The snow conditions were perfect. A very enjoyable ski-trip.

I had the best time on this trip! My roommates were so kind and from many different countries. We went snowboarding together and had meals together as well. The powder was amazing! So much to explore and do and wonderful people to talk to and learn from. I had fun playing cards against humanity at the party. I felt like the party was great for both outgoing and more introverted people as there were many different activities and things too. Another amazing trip!

Back to our favorite Tsugaike with Tokyo Snow was again my pleasure. It gave me goosebumps to surf on the powder snow. I liked a new serving meal style. Foods were all warm. Loved all you can drink including a local sake during dinner surely added more enjoyment to overall arrangement. Thank you, Tokyo Snow! We will continue our adventure with you guys!

Tashiro area (after the longest gondola in Japan from Naeba) became one of our favorites. Lots of powder snow! We enjoyed tree run/back country so much! It was hard to leave the area. Super fun and quiet slopes! Great for beginners like me who need the space and no-stress environment to get used to the slopes. The snow monkey trek was a little bit far, so do wear proper snow shoes and try and take an onsen the night before or you'll be aching while walking!!

I had a lot of fun at Tsugaike! I got a private lesson with one of the TSC teachers and was really able to up my confidence and start moving faster. The location of the hotel was right in front of the lift which was super convenient. My roommates were super friendly and nice too. Amazing trip!

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful time at Shiga Kogen! The conditions of the slopes were amazing and super easy to access the whole area right from the yama no Eki which is very close by. We enjoyed everything from the clean room, the wonderful food, and the friendly people. Would love to go again soon.

Phenomenal experience from start to finish. The bus ride to the resort was super fun (despite the delays). I was able to very quickly meet people at my snowboarding level and we had an amazing time shredding powder for two days. We couldn't have asked for better weather. The party was great, breakfast was fine, the dinner could have been better, but good enough. Bus, accommodation, storage, tickets, and everything was well organized. I would totally recommend a TSC event to my friends and maybe attend another in the future. Thank you!

A great trip. Everything was well organized by the trip leaders. The accomodation was comfortable and very conveniently located right next to the slopes so you could ski from and to the front door. I met a lot of great people and made some good friends in the group. Lots of snow on the first day that was great to ski on. Unfortunately the weather wasn't so great the second day since it rained, but we went to nice onsen in the afternoon instead. Overall, I'm glad I went and I'll definitely join a Tokyo Snow Club trip again.

The Nozawa village has lots of cute bars and restaurants in addition to the numerous onsens around town. Trip leaders were great and the snow conditions were ideal. It was my first trip with Tokyo Snow Club. I decided to sign up after a friend recommended them to me, and I was not disappointed. I found the whole thing to be well-organized. The trip leaders were clear about what to do and what to expect. They offered recommendations on which lifts to take and how to get to certain areas in the resort, and created a Whatsapp group where we could share photos, ask questions, etc. They also offered free lessons for beginner skiers and snowboarders. The hotel where we stayed at was nicely located — within walking distance to Yamano eki and Maruike — and the food (breakfast and dinner) was great. I especially liked that the onsen was open 24 hours. The party was a neat way to unwind, play some games, and chat. I’m already planning on joining another TSC trip to Shiga Kogen next month. Can’t wait!

That was a great experience! If you like to swim with fish, You should join! After enjoy the beach, you can have a spring bath near by. At night, you can see so many stars while having a dinner. That was really fun trip! If you are a beginner, I recommend you to go to ICHINOSE FAMILLY area where takes 20 min by bus from the hotel. TENGU couse in ICHINOSE FAMILLY area is no steep slopes, the distance is about 3km. You can enjoy the view while skiing, snow bording. If you are coffee drinker, should try Irish coffee at a cafe in MARUNOIKE area.

I had an amazing time with Tokyo Snow Club on their ski trip for new year. The trip was well-organized, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the resort was beautiful - 2 ski resorts nearby. I met some awesome people along the way. The highlight of the trip was the new year's eve party, where we celebrated with music, drinks, and fireworks. It was a memorable trip, especially when we felt an earthquake on January 1. It was a bit scary, but also exciting and unforgettable. We all hugged and wished each other a happy new year. The trip was a great way to start 2024, and I would definitely recommend Tokyo Snow Club to anyone who loves snow, adventure, and good company. It was a trip of a lifetime, and I can't wait to go again next year.

Best weekend of my life I had so much fun on this trip, I came with a friend but I think that even if I had come alone I would have quickly made friends. The Christmas party was so well organized and accommodations were just what you’d need for a good weekend. Great access to the whole area with the bus station nearby. Food was alright and the onsen always felt amazing. The party was so well organized that even if you came alone, you’d have fun getting to know your team and play games. By the next day I had a whole group of friends to go snowboarding with. I can’t wait for my next trip!

It was my first time heading out to these islands as well as trying out camping, and I'm happy to say that it Tokyo Snow Club made it an amazing experience. The trip was fun and well organized. I was able to enjoy my own activities (diving) but was also easily able to hop into the prepared activities like enjoying fireworks and stargazing on the beach. Loved the daily BBQ, guides were nice and friendly, and overall great vibes throughout the whole trip.

The trip was exceptionally well-organized, and the staff members were friendly and accommodating. What I particularly enjoyed about this experience was the flexibility it offered—participants could either partake in structured events or create their own plans. The organized activities, such as the planned firecrackers and island night exploration, added a delightful touch to the overall experience. The only hiccup was the transportation on the island, which got a bit confusing. The bus schedule was only every other hour, and if I missed one, it wasn't exactly within a walkable distance. On the bright side, fellow travelers were a friendly bunch, and it's worth noting that the place is both pet-friendly and vegan-friendly. While the travel to the island was a bit lengthy, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a good time. I was on this journey with five of our friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. In fact, I've already booked another trip and am looking forward more winter fun ahead.

I joined the fuji summit hike on 26 to 27 aug 2023, the team leaders are KG, Yuki, Daff and Steven, I would say they are all very professional in particular KG, who was the main leader communicated so well with all teams and managed the time so well. I felt so safe in the hands of tokyo snow club in this trip, on top of good communication, use of walkies between leaders, reflective knee stripes on every hiker, provision of oxygen canisters and head lamps, ongoing counting of people in each team to ensure no one is lost, I highly recommend tokyo snow club to my friends and i would surely join their trips when next in tokyo.

This was a really great trip. We were a small group, but everyone got along really well. It was nice sharing snacks and drinks on the long the bus ride. The bus was comfortable, and I was able to nap on the ride to the event. Keiji, as always, was a fantastic guide. He communicated efficiently, and I appreciated having a Whatsapp group to be able to communicate with each other throughout the weekend. Often guides separate from the group, so it was nice that Keiji hung out with everyone and also enjoyed the festival. The tents were comfortable, even with it raining all night. There was a wide variety of artists at the event, and it was fun also being able to play pool or go swimming. The drinks and food were reasonably priced, and tasted really good. I also liked being able to go to the onsen nearby. Overall fantastic weekend and looking forward to my next TSC trip!

As someone who doesn't like rigid schedules and is easily tired out by large groups but does enjoy wine and new experiences, this trip was a perfect balance. Except for the bus timings, you are free to go around the festival and area as you like. Because we split into smaller groups, we could exchange notes on which stalls to visit when we bumped into each other. Divide and conquer!

Very great experience with TSC as always. I have been with TSC for 2 years, tried Skiing, Fuji Montain, and this is our first time for Island. This is also my first time travel by Ferry in Japan. The view on the board are so great, we saw sunrise and sunset. At Kozushima, I also experienced the diving first time in my life! The water was so clean and the view of the sea was so nice. They provided detailed information before the trip, which helped us plan accordingly. Meeting fellow hikers from diverse backgrounds added a unique social dimension to the experience, making it not just an adventure but a chance to make new friends. The hike itself was a thrilling challenge. Starting at the base of Mt. Fuji, we ascended through stunning landscapes that transitioned from lush forests to rocky terrain. The group leaders were experienced and knowledgeable, ensuring everyone's safety while sharing fascinating insights about the mountain's history and geology. Reaching the summit at sunrise was an absolute highlight. Witnessing the first light of day from Japan's highest peak is a breathtaking moment I'll cherish forever. I joined the mountain hut overnight trip (Fujinomiya trail) and climbed Mt. Fuji for the first time with Tokyo Snow Club. Their itinerary, pacing and expertise was incredible. The best part of the trip was climbing and enjoying every step of the way. Climbing with TSC pushed and challenged me to reach the summit safely. I will never forget such an amazing time. I’ve wanted to zipline for sometime now and was finally able to join the Tokyo Snow club zipline adventure in May this year. It was an awesome experience. We had a great tour guide Keiji san and a wonderful group of people joining us. It was an obstacle course of sorts that was challenging. But all the people in the group encouraged each other which made it supportive and more intimate. It was a great experience and a lot of fun! I would totally recommend it to others and would like to do a more advanced course again in the future.

Had a great time on the trip! We started reasonably early from Shinjuku but this helped avoid crowds and have a comfortable train journey. The sake brewery was an unexpected delight - really lovely setting, good and well priced food and of course a great selection of good quality sake. I enjoyed the group we were with - a pretty diverse crowd, easy to make new friends. KG, our guide, made sure the whole adventure went smoothly and had just the right friendly attitude. Kayaking was fun and definitely for beginners - no strong currents, clear and calm water. The instructors spoke mostly Japanese but our guide translated everything perfectly. We went a bit upstream and then downstream, all under close supervision. The kayaks were a little difficult to control but not a big deal overall. The group was about 20 people but it did not feel crowded neither on the water nor during transport or lunch.

My spouse and I had a nice time joining a group of 11 ppl on a kayaking trip in Okutama. All the logistics were taken care of and although it was raining, the kayak company had rain jackets that we could wear while kayaking to stay warm. We enjoyed visiting the sake brewery town in Sawai and eating at a tofu specialty restaurant. It was also fun meeting a diverse group of people from Tokyo.

It's the best way to disconnect from the world of stress and tensions. I personally felt very relaxed after the session. It was an amazing experience. Instructor was a very well trained yoga teacher who guides and helps you through the process of stretch poses based on the candidate's level of flexibility. Suitable for beginners. We were lucky it was a sunny day so we could see the bottom of the river through the clean and transparent water. We spotted some cute ducks. A locker for our belongings was available at the location, you don't have to carry everything with you on the kayak so don't worry about it :) The kayaking instructor could not speak English very well but the tour guide was there to assist with the translation if needed.

This was my first joining in TSC by my self, also I am very beginner of snowboarder. There were 2 tour conductors and they are also instructors of ski and snowboarding. They were very kind and gave me a beginner lesson at Kagura. At first I was not even able to stand up by myself, but thank you for giving me a lesson patiently, I could finally slide from the top of the slope by myself!! Also I made friends in the bus. This was my first trip ever with the TSC. It was my second trip with the TSC. It was also my first time skiing, so i took the begginers lesson with Stephen. He is a very good and patient teacher. At the end i did the route twice, and i had a great time. Also the place is amazing. The landscape is really amazing, i took a lot of great photos there. The hotel was pretty comfortable and have it`s own onsen. The food there is also great, especially the dinner, it`s was really surprising. We earned some cupons to spend at near by restaurants and store and it was really worth it. Also did the snow monkey park trip, and it is also really cool. Throughout the trip people were very friendly and it was easy to have fun with them. The only bad part is that it was only two days. I definitely recommend and will participate again in other trips.

The trip to Naeba was an incredible experience. The snow resort was great, and I had a blast snowboarding on the mountain. I recently took the Shiga Kogen Snow trip and it was fantastic. Despite being alone, I was able to easily connect with others and make new friends. I took the snowboarding lesson, which was very useful, although there is not enough time to become an expert with just one morning lesson. However, the tips I received were enough to get me started on the slopes. I also visited the Monkey Onsen, which was a lovely experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable winter getaway.

I recently went on a ski tour to the Tsugaike Snow Resort with the Tokyo Snow Club and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The trip was well-organized from start to finish and every detail was taken care of. The resort itself was breathtaking, with gorgeous views and challenging slopes for all levels of skiers. Steven from the club was knowledgeable, friendly and always made sure that everyone in our group was having a great time. The accommodations were comfortable and convenient, and the food was delicious. Very good trip, perfect hotel location, excellent organisation. The resort is ideal for moving the first steps into off-piste powder skiing. The views from the top are breath-taking and I would recommend the trip even to non-skiers just to enjoy that. Some easy slopes through the woods are magical in the morning and will leave you feeling good for weeks afterwards. Great dinner and not to be missed apres-skiing events!

I recently had the pleasure of going on a ski trip to Shiga Kogen with Tokyo Snow Club. The resort was beautiful, with breathtaking views of the mountains and a variety of ski runs to choose from. Most of the snow was perfect, not too icy and not too slushy. There was a good mix of easy, intermediate, and advanced runs, so there was something for skiers of all levels. One of the highlights of the trip was the ski instruction I received. The instructors were top-notch, very knowledgeable and patient. Felt like I made real progress in just a few hours, and I know that I'll be a better skier because of it. The resort itself was also fantastic. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the after ski activities, which included a huge public bath and party. Overall, I had an amazing time on this ski trip. The resort was fantastic and the skiing was great. I would highly recommend this ski trip to anyone looking for a fun and unforgettable winter vacation. Hope to join another trip with Tokyo Snow Club!

The staff were super helpful the whole weekend and put on a great party. Shiga Kogen is a bit confusing if you’ve never been before (especially when some runs are closed) so highly recommend chatting with them for advice on where to go to suit your level Snow monkeys were a great side trip as well

Joined as a solo traveler and could not have been more happy with the choic of my new year's trip this year. The solos were placed in the same rooms and it was super easy to connect and and form groups for skiing and parties at night. I would like to thank the team for the great organisation; the bus left pretty much on time from Shinjuku, rental ski gear was waiting at the lodge and it was even possible to have one dinner with pretty much everyone on the tour (~50 people). Overall great tour and I will definitely book again with Tokyo Snow Club.

The Christmas trip was amazing! I had a great time on the slopes and it was very convenient. The snow club took care of transportation, lift tickets, room assignments, and threw a great Christmas party on top of all that. I will definitely be joining more trips in the future. This was my first time on a Tokyo Snow Club trip and enjoyed it! Kagura was an interesting resort, and I got to make friends skiing and snowboarding. The shuttles from the hotel to the ropeway were convenient and it was good to get the lift passes beforehand, to minimize waiting. The rentals through TSC were also very easy. The hotel onsen was very nice, as was the brined apples. I enjoyed the beer pong party in the evening even though I lost :) The 30 minute rest period for dinner on the way back was quicker than I thought, and I had to rush to finish my Tonkatsu. But I now know how to prioritize next time. Overall I enjoyed it, and will attend more events in the future.

Had a great powder weekend with TSC as always! Naeba was closed, so only got to experience Kagura but it was good overall. Long queues and wait times at the lift/gondola, but the snow was good. The rentals were decent too. Looking forward to the next trip!

Peak autumn is when the valley of the river turns red. Amazing scenery. Water's a bit cold, but with luck you won't fall into the water (kidding). Kayaking course is for beginners but quite relaxing nonetheless. With luck, you'll run into awesome people, and also end up going to the river and talking till the sun sets : )

Summer time is when the valley is green and the water is cool enough for a swim. Once you're done with the kayaking you can head on down to the sake-brewery, get some stuff to drink, and may be dunk in the river : )

This was the last kayaking trip of the year by TSC. As always, the valley before the dam in Shiromaru was as scenic as ever, and the water surprisingly wasn't as cold. The kayaking course is fairly easy - the river is dammed right after the kayaking place and so it's practically a lake with few currents. Perfect for beginners and also for people just trying to relax outdoors. Later on, at the sake brewery, you can taste many unique nihon-shu for not much money and may be hang around with folks. Definitely recommended.

The whole trip was properly managed including the comfortable traveling to and fro. Since it was a group trip, I made friends too which made the journey more interesting. Flower Fantasy Illumination was just splendid and something unique to be seen. We had plenty of time to roam around the whole parklands. The natural surrounds, flowers, ponds, hills and fields created visual spectacle. There were many food stalls and even shops selling different kind of flowery products. This place is definitely very Instagram-able as one can have lot of beautiful clicks here. Also, for couples this is a paradise as there were many exclusive pretty photo-spots. Since it's an open park, it was very cold so please dress warm to enjoy properly.

I had a super wonderful time at the activities! Kayaking was very tiring but fun, in addition to all the sceneries surrounding the river, it felt so serene. Our guide, Keiji, was nice and caring for all of his guests. He's helpful, very informative, and patiently kept guiding me on how to paddle the Kayak properly. The lunch at the brewery after that alleviated all the weariness from kayaking. Small yet elegant place, the location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature while eating hot udon/soba and sipping the Sake. Had a great talk and laugh during the whole trip, big props to Keiji!!

The winery took two places around Yamanashi and the we have onsen option, which is pretty relaxing after wine testing. The regrettable part is because of traffic jam, the Shosenkyo area was not fully explored and we had less time for lunch. Maybe it's better to just split the tour as Shosenkyo Gorge Tour OR Winery Tour. But in overall, it was a fun trip and we made new friends along the way!

Kayaking on Okutama is one of the coolest things I've done around Tokyo. Sunny weather, blue waters, and battling to keep the kayak straight, esp. in parts of the river where the stream gets stronger. Awesome! Can't recommend this enough.

This trip to Mt Mitake was everything I could expect it to be: full of beautiful sights, of fresh air, of cute paths amidst nature. The hike wasn't hard at all, with regular small pauses (that were good opportunities to meet people), so I would say it's accessible for anyone, and the main spots (the falls, the temple, the rock valley) were really worthwhile. The group of people was very nice, and open to discussion. I've been able to sympathize with quite a few of them, and given that meeting new people was one of my main objectives with this hike, I'd say I'm very satisfied. The tour guides were very competent: they were clear about the organization and took good care of us for the last bit of transport (bus and cablecar). Beside, they were very nice, and available for any question or even to take part in discussions like any other participant, which I find very nice. I look forward to my next event with Tokyo Snow Club.

All I can say is that everything was just perfect about this trip. It was my first time skiing, and I took free lessons from the TSC staff, which was very helpful. The fireworks were amazing and the party that followed was just cherry on top. The dinner and breakfast were also very delicious and were cooked separately for me because of my dietary restrictions. I had so much fun and made some great friends on the trip. I look forward to attending more fun trips with the Tokyo snow club!

The Kayaking experience in Okutama was superb - beautiful mountains, pristine waters and with a bunch of great people. The instructors taught us the basics but once we got hold of it, we were able to venture around nicely. They even took photos for us with the scenic backdrop of Okutama! The sake brewery afterwards was also great idea to unwind a little over food & drinks - I was even given an "Ochoko" (cup for Sake) as a souvenir.

Weather was really perfect for this trip, couldn't have done it on a better day. The final climb from 8.5 station took way longer than expected due to extreme crowds, but the entire trek was well managed. we could've stopped for a shorter duration at lower stations, to get more time at the summit.

This was my first proper hiking trip and was not sure what to expect. Tokyo Snow Club team made sure that everything was taken care from starting point to the return to Shinjiku Station. Hiking was very well coordinated and was at right pace to reach summit right on time. They continuously tracked all group to ensure no one is left behind. Hiking was nice and views were surreal. I would strongly recommend to go through Tokyo Snow Club even if you want to go as your own group so that you don't have to worry about how to pace yourself to reach summit and that's really important to reach summit that you save energy on your way. Very great trip there. Highly Recommend! I am not first time to join the TSC trip, and always, TSC has given me and my wife a very good experience. We don't have too much exp. on hiking, but we were able to make it with the great help from TSC. The climbing pace was well designed. We didn't feel too cold or too hot as we have good breaks. We started the hiking from 6:30 pm and arrived at the 4:30am the next day, which was right 20 mins earlier than the sunrise! Another thing is that that day was also my wife's birthday, our lead urged everyone to celebrate for her birthday at the Fuji Mt. summit under the shinning sunrise. That moment shall be the best of this year! Thank you all for the great help! Looking forward another trip with TSC!

Joining this trip was a last minute decision and I'm so glad I did! It was an amazing way to spend my Sunday, just an hour and half outside of Tokyo. Keiji was a a great tour guide/host - friendly, accommodating and engaging. White Water Rafting at this river was a good mix of exciting and chill. The tour size was just right - small enough to get a change to talk with everyone. The lunch and sake brewery was the perfect way to end the day. I would definitely do this again and/or try their other trips :)

It was an amazing trip which started in the morning at 9 AM. We did water rafting in Okatuma for about 2 hours. The rapids were not difficult but it's a good experience for beginners. This is my first attempt to climb Mt. Fuji and witness the majestic sunrise at the summit. Lo and behold! We only did not reach the summit but on time for a perfect view of the sunrise. I really appreciate how our guides Keiji and Steven always check on us while on hiking. Guiding like a pro but interacting like a friend. Kudos! I just wish we had enough time to go around the summit. But all in all it was a superb experience.

It was amazing weekend to had great experience for the first time Kayaking at Okutama with TSC! The registration and directions to the spot are clear and full in English (Foreigners friendly) haha. Our tour leader also great, friendly and informative to give us an instruction and recommendation activities after the kayaking. We did sake testing and swimming also chills at Tama riverside. Must try for you who just come to Japan and anyone who just getting bored with jobs, school and wants to get a new friends while doing some fun activities ! 5/5

We went to shibazakura and it was supposed to be rainy. The weather gods were with us and we are able to see Fuji clearly with the beautiful flowers and the lake. The onsen was amazing and the wineries were great. The second winery you paid ¥1500 to taste 180 wines and best part is you pour it yourself. I had a great time.

I had a really nice time at the summer season party! It was great to see some people from previous trips and meet a lot of new people. It was also nice to see the trip leaders from the trips we had been on previously. The location in Shibuya was great, it was at a bar I had past many times and had been meaning to check out. There was a singer who was really great and the DJ was good. There were also many raffle giveaways of various prizes ranging from small trinkets to t-shirts to free trips. The fee to attend the party included one drink. The only thing I would say is that their bar could have had higher quality drinks- it felt very cheap and low quality. Overall it was a nice time and I am looking forward to going on trips in this summer season such as kayaking, winery tours, rafting and hiking.

Great trip. Shiga kogen was a great location and Tokyo Snow Club made it super easy and affordable. I will definitely be joining a trip or two next year. Also, it was great that they brought a bar tender. Excellent rum drinks.

The snow in Tsugaike was a little bit wet because of the rain, but we got very lucky on the second day in Cortina. It snowed the entire night and it continued during the day. It was so soft that it felt like surfing on water. Probably the best day this season!

I spent two days in Tsugaike because the snow was very good, especially on the top. If you want to go off-piste, remember to watch the 15 min video and sign, they will give you a pass that should be valid for the rest of the season!

This was my first trip with Tokyo Snow Club. Everyone was friendly and there were good vibes the whole weekend. Being able to rent gear made the experience so easy and fun. We were lucky with good weather on day one and lots of snow on day two. I look forward to signing up for another ski trip next season!

If I had to summarize the trip in one sentence: "Ride the bus, enjoy the people, make GREAT memories, have TONS of fun, ride the bus back home". If I had to write more I'd say: great accommodation (we were literally 80 meters from the piste), attentive trip leaders, everything was spelled out clearly: both on paper and digitally, we had a chat group to organize ourselves and there has not been a second where I didn't know what would we do next. It really felt like a group of friends skiing rather than an organized tour with total strangers: definitely going again!

One of the best ski and outdoor club for foreigners living in Japan. I started as a noob snowboarder and with the help of Keiji-san (private lessons) I can now do carving (though it is still not perfect). Very cheap and convenient (for people living in Tokyo). They offer free lessons and private lessons which is waaay cheaper compared to snow schools in the resorts. Cant wait for the next ski season!

Best powder snow ever in two winter seasons! I have never seen this much fatty snow monsters. The view from the lift near the top was absolutely amazing. Leader has lots of information about the slopes and where to grab a delicious lunch and dinner. (Yum yum) Zao onsengai is an another world. I felt like I was in “Sen to Chihiro” movie. I’m already looking forward to coming back to Zao next year. Hopefully with fireworks. Thanks to all the friendly Tokyo Snow Club staff to make our trip so much fun!

Tsugaike and Hakuba Cortina’s alps view was breathtaking. It made me feel like I was in Switzerland. There are many slopes for many levels at Tsugaike. My partner had so much fun during backcountry tour and still enjoyed going between trees in the green area where I had to stay. We also enjoyed Hakuba local draft beer every day after the snowboarding looking over a beautiful white world from the hotel window. Having a beer break, dinner, and party all at the same lovely hotel was so relaxing. An amazing singer definitely added more festivity to the party. Thank you, Tokyo Snow Club staff members for making every single tour family friendly, safe, and fun!

A fun day out, despite the rain! The instructions could have been a little clearer on what to wear and bring (e.g. would wetsuits be provided) but everything was easy once we arrived and the group was really friendly. Kayaking was good fun, though it would have been nice to have had a bit more of the river to explore than the area we had. The sake brewery was also great: tasty food to warm us up after kayaking and 100JPY sake refills!

I had a great time skiing at Shiga Kogen. As a beginner skier, Stephen was a very accomodating and patient ski instructor. He adapted the practice to suit our needs and everything was great quality. JJ was with us all the way too. Her efficiency, communication and ability to keep everybody on track was top notch. Finally, getting to know other people and the social side was so much fun. I'd definitely sign up for other trips!

I had a great time on my first trip with Tokyo Snow Club! Tokyo Snow Club made the entire trip extremely easy, especially for a non-experienced skier. The beginner lesson was really fantastic and the equipment rentals were very easy. I also really enjoyed seeing the Snow Monkeys! The hotel was pretty bare-bones but it did the job of serving as a place to sleep and had a nice onsen. The food was okay, but I'm glad it was accommodating to my vegan friend who had a specially prepared dinner just to meet her eating restrictions. Though the party was cancelled due to covid, we still had a really nice time meeting people. I do think it would be nice if dinner wasn't assigned tables by room so that people could mingle and meet each other during that time instead of only sitting with the people they already know. Overall, I had a really great time and I am excited to go on more trips with Tokyo Snow Club in the future. Happy skiing!

The trip was organized well. Bus ride was comfortable. Food was good, in the hotel. One issue in hotel stay which was not comfortable for us, the room heater was not switched on during the night time before sleep but switched on early in the morning around 5 AM. Overall nice trip.

Dress warm!!! Very Instagram-able place. It’s a lot bigger than expected. There are several eating places, to include indoor dining. There were food trucks/stalls as well, and outdoor seating had some heaters around. The light displays were fantastic. You exit through the gift shop and it’s fairly big. I regret not giving myself more time to look through the store on my way out to meet the bus.

The tour was a lot of fun. Be prepared for lots of walking. The ropeway was a bit of hike. Eating lunch along the river was super relaxing. We only got to one of wineries, but the owner was very passionate about his winery. It was fun to walk around and see all the grapes hanging down.

I had a great time kayaking ! Scenery is amazing, very picturesque, the staff was friendly and helpful (plus tried their best with english). Lunch at Sake brewery is a wonderful experience, I was not aware of this place, and I think that it is a must see/taste in the Okutama neighbourhood! Big up to Ken-san who came with his super happy mood and help us all along ! 10/10 would recommend !

Lucked out with a beautiful day for this hike. Very scenic, including panoramic views. We had a full bus, but the guides did an overall good job of keeping things in order. Unforeseen traffic delays cut into the itinerary, but it was still a fulfilling trip. Highly recommend.

This trip was awesome. We had two great tour guides . We went to the fuji lake boat cruise and the weather was beautiful. There were some clouds so we weren't able to see mount fuji. The wine tasting was great. It's a really great opportunity to see the country side of Japan and enjoy their wine and meet new people.

The rafting trip was amazing. The weather was beautiful and the water was cool and refreshing. Keiji was an amazing tour guide and added more fun to the trip. It was a great way to meet other people on this trip as well and make new friends. After the rafting Keiji introduced us to this local restaurant. The food there was great including the fish that was freshly grilled. Last stop was the sake brewery. We each bought a bottle of sake and shared it by the wonderful refreshing river. I'll come do this again when the weather gets warmer.

Climbing Mt. Fuji was an experience. Our guide stood in the back with us. He also made sure we were safe. I'd have to come back and do this trip again. Due to the weather I did not make it to the summit. However, the views were still beautiful. I met some great people on this trip and we hope to do it again next year.

The kayaking trip in Okutama was very fun. Our guide was cheerful and friendly. Even though we were a big group, she led us with confidence and interacted with everyone. She also easily translated what the kayak guide was saying. It was raining on the day, so we were worried that the event wouldn't happen or that we wouldn't have fun if we went, but everyone in the group had a really good attitude, and we all played around in the kayaks, laughing together, despite the weather. The visit to the sake tasting area was the icing on the cake. By that time, it has stopped raining, and we were free to spend a leisurely time sipping sake and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. I definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking to have some fun outdoors and meet new people.
