Miyakejima Dolphin Swim Island Getaway

It wasn't my first tour with TSC, so I wasn't surprised that everything was as well organized as always. Communication went smoothly and everything was thought of. About the trip itself: it was my first time snorkeling, but there was nothing to worry about. The most important things are explained in a short beginner's course. Then we were off to see the dolphins. This great experience lasted about two hours and I wouldn't want to miss it! We spent the rest of our time on the island with super nice people and guides having a BBQ, relaxing and playing games before heading back around midday the next day. Thank you guys for the great time. I'm already looking forward to the next tour with TSC.

Miyakejima Dolphin Swim Island Getaway

Well prepared guides. Ferry was a great experience to the island & back. Partners on the island that conduct the dolphin tours were extremely helpful for those who had never swam in the ocean before. Those who are experienced will also have a lot of fun as you can free dive with the dolphins. They even captured awesome gopro footage of our sightings. The area where the dolphins live is also lovely, our boat took a quick tour around the island. The campsite has a beautiful beach right outside & the reef has some interesting creatures from turtles to parrot fish to trumpet fish, too! The guides did an excellent job coordinating things and communicating what was to happen next. They also are fantastic chefs and engineers of tarps that kept everyone mostly try in the rain. You'll think this is a once in a lifetime trip, but then you'll come back wanting to go again. Its one of those trips that is just 48 hours, but you feel like you were gone for 90. Only tip is bring drinks & an extension cord for the boat ride, a game for the campsite and of course excitement for the trip ahead! :)

Hakuba Craft Beer Festival & Adventure Weekend

Great trip with TSC, Hakuba is beautiful in the summer and the craft beer fest was a lot of fun and delicious! If I did it again, I would do a hike on the first day in the afternoon and attend the festival in the evening.

Fuji Shibazakura Festival

The Fuji shibazakura festival scenary is absolutly beautiful. The wine & juice free all-you-can-drink tasting is great. And I recommend you take the onsen option at the end, especially as it is partly outside and in a high place with a stunning view on the valley. Great trip leader, well-organized & fun trip!

Stand-Up Paddle Boarding

Great trip leader, great organisation, friendly people! I did stand-up paddle boarding for the first time and quickly got used to it, without falling or anything. The thing I particularly enjoyed compared to kayak for example is the fact that we can paddle in any position: standing, sitting, or even laying down!

Hakuba Snow Festival

This trip was so much fun! I met a lot of cool, new people and finally got back out to some gorgeous powder snow, after ages away. It was the perfect re-introduction to get my 'snow-legs' back, and actually be social. The guides were awesome; very informative, and super supportive, even, and maybe especially, when we were being dumb. My friend left her snowboard at the hotel, and I didn't notice until we got to the slopes. It was a whole ridiculous thing of sharing my board during the lesson. But, our instructors, Robin and Diane were super helpful, though hilariously flabbergasted by the situation. Hakuba was really gorgeous! And the festival, with the multiple taiko performances and fire dancing were quite the treat! Also, though we weren't there most of the time, the hotel staff catered to our needs brilliantly. They were so careful about everyone's dietary restrictions. It was admirable. All the staff, including the bus staff were really great, including long after the trip had passed. I lost something valuable on the way back, and everyone pitched in to search for it. It wasn't found, but I'm super appreciative of the effort anyway. Looking forward to another excursion with the lovely folks of TSC! I'll definitely be more mindful of my accoutrements next time! Cheers guys! Dani_T
