Enjoyed the trip! Staff were great in sending instruction to the group and Shiga Kogen is s great resort. Lodging was conveniently near the gondola and the afterparty is great too

Great way to start the year

The trip was really, really fun. The Red Door Hotel was very nice and comfortable to stay in. The only issue was with the equipment - my snowboard binding broke about an hour after I started using it. Luckily, it happened when I was down at the bottom and not on the mountain, but it was very dangerous. The next day they replaced the snowboard, but it was also very old and not suitable for practice. It would be a good idea to check the equipment in advance next time. Other than that, everything was excellent!

It was a very nice experience, very convenient route taken from the station to the riverside. Guide Bunzo was very helpful and nice with useful tips not only about kayaking but also the reserve surrounding it. I did wish to see a tour of the winery in itself, the process on how the sake is made etc. That was not done but still was a nice trip overall
