Overview

Come join us on a cycle tour around Kamakura and its surrounding areas with the evening ending with sunset views from Enoshima. The tour portion will include visiting famous sites such as a bamboo forest, numerous shrines and temples, and the prominent Buddha (which clocks in at 13.35 meters (43.8 ft) tall and weighs approximately 93 tons). Along with visiting these sites, you will also be able to learn about the history that has made Kamakura one of the hottest "must-see" destinations in Japan.

With many civil wars and revolutions in Japan, the Kamakura era marked an enormous change in the ruling of Japan. Kamakura was where the first ever Shogunate was created. Ruling for 150 years, the area around Kamakura is rich in history ans sites to see. With numerous temples, shrines and other historical monuments all spread out across the area, we will be renting bicycles to roam around and visit these fascinating places. In addition, Kamakura's sand beaches attract large crowds during the summer months.
