Minakami Adventure

Overview

Minakami is the adventure capital of Japan with a huge variety of activities available for thrill seekers.

The Tone River in Minakami is Japan's best whitewater rafting experience, with over 12kms of world class, grade 3-4 rapids. Along with your rafting guide and raft mates, you will cruise along the beautiful river, navigating the exciting rapids along the way.

For even more thrills in the river its time to go canyoning! A minakami canyoning tour means jumping waterfalls, cascading down natural chutes and swimming in crystal clear pools and with 80% of the time spent in the water, a canyoning tour is a very fun way to get wet!

For this weekend trip, we are staying at Canyons Alpine lodge which is right next to an awesome swimming hole and is the base for most of the adventure activities. There are also several hot springs nearby that we can visit. This is going to be an unreal adventure - hope that you can join us!
